Jason Hartley Named Federal Court Lawyer Representative

The United States District Court for the Southern District of California selected Stueve Siegel Hanson LLP Partner Jason Hartley to serve as a Lawyer Representative for the District. Lawyer Representatives are chosen by the judges of the District among a number of applicants. They meet regularly with the judges to discuss issues affecting the District, organize special projects and serve as a liaison with the legal community in the San Diego region disseminating information learned during their representation. Jason is one of the few plaintiffs’ civil litigation lawyers serving in that role, and the only one whose practice is almost entirely in federal court.

“I look forward to serving the Court in the most effective way I can,” said Hartley. “This opportunity will help me be the best advocate for clients by better understanding our judges’ needs.”
